Boxing Day Walk 🎁 Bunkers Park to Kings Langley

It wouldn't be Boxing Day without a walk! Come and join us for six miles over the fields to Kings Langley and back.

We meet to leave @ 10:30am from Bunkers Park car park, next to the new Hemel Hempstead Crematorium, just off Bedmond Road, HP3 8LL. Please be ready to leave 10 minutes beforehand 🚙

NB: Bunkers Park car park itself only has about a dozen spaces, but there is additional parking on the right hand side of the driveway leading to the car park. Would recommend car sharing if possible

To start, we head through Bunkers Park and onto the very picturesque Longdeans Nature Reserve 🥀🌿🍁 Then it’s over the fields and little country lanes till we reach Kings Langley. We hope to stop here for a coffee break ☕️ at Dallings 🫖 After our break we’ll reconvene back along the Grand Union Canal 🛶 and more local fields back to the car park. Some nice views, and the odd incline, but nothing too drastic.
The walk is about 6 miles, and will take roughly 3 hours including the coffee stop.
