Barn dancing in St. Albans!
Details
As part of St. Albans folk festival, there will be a barn dance this coming Friday 5th June 2026 at the Marlborough Road Methodist Church Hall, Marlborough Road, St. Albans. You can park in London Road car park or Key field terrace car park for a small fee.
The dance starts at 7.45pm and finishes at 10pm. There will be a 15 minute interval from 8.45 til 9pm in which time the entrance fee of £4 will be payable by cash or card (there is no MeetUp fee for this event)
If you've never been to a barn dance before, expect lively dances with an instructor who will tell you what to do, together with a live band playing music to dance the new moves to.
You dance sometimes with a partner in a group of people or sometimes on your own but with a group of people.
This is an inclusive and fun event to enjoy and I hope you all enjoy it like I have for 34 years!
