Grand Rapids Camera Club January Program

“FIVE PHUN THINGS TO DO WITH YOUR FOTOS”
Presented by Russ Barneveld
In this program Russ Barneveld will present five short mini tutorials on alternative processing, printing, and display methods. As a bonus we will also look at a fun way to share images online.
The mini tutorials will cover:
• Cyanotype Prints
• Chlorophyll Prints
• Agamographs
• Colorization
• Animating Still Images
Russ says, "Ok, I admit it … I get bored very quickly and am aways anxious to try new things. In the old days I was an avid “Darkroom Junkie.” I loved seeing my images come to life in the developing tray. Then the digital age came along and everything changed. Looking at an image on a computer screen or cell phone is OK but I reached a point where I had to try different ways of sharing my work."
Russ is a long time member of Grand Rapids Camera Club. He enjoys stretching photographic boundaries and exploring both new and old ideas and techniques! Russ’ background in education shines through with his thirst for learning something new and his willingness to share what he has learned with others.
Following our program we will have a short social break. We will conclude the meeting by showing the January Competition images.
Guests are always welcome, we suggest a $5 donation for non-members. Members are always free.
