Sunday Hike at Estrella Mountain Regional Park

Hike: Estrella Mountain Regional Park Trails - Route to be determined.

Distance: Approx 4-5 miles
Elevation: Less than 700ft

Location: Estrella Mountain Regional Park, 14805 West Vineyard Avenue, Goodyear, AZ 85338 - This address will take you to the park entrance. We will meet and start from the Gila Trailhead (do not type in Gila trail, GPS will take you to South Mountain). You will follow Arena Dr. around to C. Abbott Drive South. The trailhead is on Casey Abbott Dr S just off of Arena Dr. (see event image).

Time:

• Meet at the GILA trailhead at 7:30am

Bring: A minimum of 2 ltrs of water, good hiking shoes/boots, hat, sunscreen, poles (optional)

Other important information:

There is a $7 per car entrance fee (or a Maricopa County Park Pass).

There is no shade on this trail. Make sure you are able to hike 5 miles in full sun.
