Itinerary

Not reccied so could be slightly more or less then 12 mile :P Could be to do with Charles Darwen i dont know

Meet outside the station. Mostly new parts to me but we leave Darwen behind through small roads then a quick ascent of Winter Hill giving views of M62 i think it is. Short descent down to Earnsdale reservoir.

Gradual ascent again to reach Darwen tower which gives lovely views of the valley and surrounding Lancershire ..

Moorland wandering along an easy ridgeline to reach Black Hill, a short desent off black hill to come back up to reach White Hill. Then a long gradual descent to Darwen Park and back to the train st or pub.
