Annual Multi-Group Summer BBQ and Party @ Croton Point Park

"Surry down to a stoned soul picnic":

Saturday, August 15th will be the date for our annual Meetup, multi-group BBQ, to be held at Picnic Area #1 at Croton Point Park. Thanks to those who submitted some ideas, but this view beats 'em all!!

More information to come but please note the following:
$20.00 PER PERSON/ATTENDEE (not per Meetup Member), deadline will be August 7th. All payees will get wristbands at the event. No wristband/no entry, no eat or drink.

***BBQ goers who haven't submitted payment have until Saturday, August 8th, to submit their method of payment in writing: Venmo, Zelle or COD/Door. Otherwise, they will be moved to "Not Going" and the planned inventory reduced, exponentially ***

***This venue and BBQ/Party are being funded and paid for by Meetup members via the ticket fee (and myself as a major donor). Those who choose not to participate in that aspect of it are NOT PERMITTED to partake as visitors..***

Please note the parking fee for Westchester County Parks:
$10.00 for parking at the gate: This is a Westchester County Parks fee - we ALL have to pay it. The $10 goes straight to the Westchester County to maintain the park, the beach, and the roads.

**In the event of a weather incident (and we'll know 3-4 days ahead of time), those who prepaid will be issued a refund via the same method that they paid me.

*This year is **NOT** "pot luck", except for those who want to bring anything out of the goodness of their hearts. The "fee" goes towards the picnic area rental, food, drink, supplies and NOT for profit.
**If you want alcohol, wine and beer are included in the park permit, however, you must bring your own. NO hard liquor on park premises, as per County regulations.
This will be a multi-group Meetup event and a golden chance to meet other people in a beautiful, park-like setting on the Hudson!

Pre-BBQ:
Fruit salads, grapes
Chips, pretzels
Water
Gatorade and Vitamin Water
Some soda
BBQ:
Hamburgers/Cheeseburgers
Hot dogs
Macaroni and potato salad
Desserts:
Cookies/non-meltable items

*For those looking for shrimp, caviar, filet mignon and/or London broil, that would be a different picnic area.

Party on!! This IS a full day of:

• food
• drink
• grilling
• games
• socializing
• waterfront views and the river!!
• multiple groups and camaraderie!!
• a curated event

We will need some volunteers for grilling, as well as assisting with the check-in.
