About the Club:
The Pittsburgh Area "Model" Investment Club is sponsored by the Pittsburgh Chapter of BetterInvesting for the purpose of educating people about stock investment club operations and using BetterInvesting stock investment decision-making techniques. It is called a "Model" investment club because it is intended to show how an investment club is operated. People interested in creating their own investment club can use this club as a model.

The investment club is also a fully functioning investment club. People that become members invest between $10 and $200 per month, and the club maintains an investment portfolio following BetterInvesting procedures. Each month there are two (2) new stocks reviewed that have been featured in the BetterInvesting magazine.

NOTE: This is an ONLINE ONLY Session

Visitors Always Welcome. Anyone in the area can attend as a visitor, either in person or virtually. Visitors have no commitments and there are no costs for visitors to attend as often as they like. Visitors are encouraged to participate in our lively discussions (but only members may vote on investment decisions for the club). Note that regular members do not register on Meetup so there will generally be at least 10 more people attending then shown in the Meetup attendee list.
