Beginner Abseil - Yellow Rock

Abseiling is a gateway skill needed for bigger and better adventures such as canyonning or rock climbing or multi pitch abseiling. Come hang out, learn some skills and make some friends.

This is a free social event for all those looking to learn skills, make friends, or share their own skills.

This is a free event because their will be no tour guides, no set pace or requirements. Im just an experienced rock climber eager to sgare my skills with those who are eager to learn.

I am comfortable with abseiling, self belay, prussiking and have plenty of gear to share with those who have none or just want to talk to an expert before buying gear

The cliffs are only a short 2min walk from the car and range in jeight from 5m to 15m

There are no bathrooms at this reserve

BRING: Abseiling gear, if you have it. Food/water/sunscreen/hat etc

This is a friendly social event so dont take yourself to serious and help out where possible. Also, bring food to share if possible
