Ready to trade the city skyline for soaring sandstone walls? Join us for an adrenaline-fueled day at
Jugglers Canyon!
Located near Medlow Bath in the Blue Mountains National Park, this spot is a local "winter favourite" because it stays relatively dry while still delivering big on thrills. It’s short, sharp, and spectacular—perfect for those who want maximum adventure without a massive approach hike.
The Game Plan
The Descent: We’ll tackle four abseils up to 20m high.
The Terrain: Expect narrow slots, rainforest scrambles, and some wading.
The Views: The exit hike via the Point Pilcher track offers jaw-dropping views into the Grose Valley.
Pace: It’s a short route (~300m of canyon), but we’ll take our time to soak in the scenery.
Are You Up For It?
This event is for independent canyoners with their own gear.
Experience Required: You must be proficient with ropes and abseil anchors.
Fitness: Moderate to high. There are some technical scrambles and a 45-minute uphill walk out.
Gear: Bring your harness, helmet, descender, prussics, safety lanyard, etc, also, wetsuit (optional but recommended for wading), and sturdy canyoning shoes.
The Details
Point: Old piltcher trail car park medlow bath (near the airport/fire road start).
Duration: Roughly 5–6 hours depending on group size.
Cost: Free (excluding your own gear/transport).
What to Bring: water, lunch, dry bag, and a warm change of clothes for the car, and canyoning gear
