AI: Friend, Foe or Frenemy? A Western Sydney Community Conversation
Details
As AI rapidly transforms our jobs, relationships, and daily lives, Western Sydney residents need space to explore these changes together. This interactive panel brings together diverse local voices—tech workers, educators, business owners, community advocates—to discuss AI's real-world impact through compelling stories and current events.
We'll tackle 4-5 critical topics: AI companions, autonomous agents, deepfakes, workforce transformation, and more. This isn't a tech lecture—it's a community conversation where skeptics and enthusiasts alike can ask hard questions, share concerns, and build collective wisdom about navigating the AI revolution.
As part of Spark Festival's celebration of innovation and creativity, this event embodies the spirit of bringing communities together to shape our collective future. Join us for meaningful dialogue, light refreshments, and connection with fellow Western Sydney residents grappling with the same questions about our AI-shaped future.
Presented by: Western Sydney Tech Innovators (WSTI) and LaunchPad WSU Parramatta
Time: 5.30 - 7.30pm
