West London Games Club

Join us for board games and drinks at the Cabbage Patch in Twickenham.

We play a wide range of classic and modern board and card games and typically start the evening with some light party games before getting into other favourites. All are welcome, please come and say hello.

This event has a chat group, you’ll get an invitation to join it once you register.

The reserved area is typically at the back on the left side of the pub.

There is no charge for the event but our use of the space is based on it being worth it for the pub therefore it helps maintain our use of the space if people buy food and/or drink.

Isleworth Boardgamers meet from 11am until late every Wednesday, upstairs at a new venue, The Town Wharf in Isleworth (a 5 minute walk from our traditional venue The London Apprentice). Parking is harder around the new venue so suggest parking as normal and saving spaces for those less able to walk the short distance.

This is a well established group, but friendly and welcoming and best suited for those who have been regularly playing strategic board games from classics like Ticket To Ride, Catan and Great Western Trail to recent hits like Ark Nova, SETI and Shackleton Base. Newcomers always welcome and we play a broad range of games on the day.

There are no charges or entrance fee involved but we do ask that you support the pub by buying drinks and/or food from the bar as they kindly allow us use of the upstairs room without charge. Food will be available 12-3 and 5.30-8.30.

To find us: If arriving early use the outside stairs to the top floor until the pub opens to the public. Head up the stairs at the back of the pub to the top floor. Feel free to bring games or there should be a good selection on offer from other attendees.

You are welcome to come and go as you please but please let us know what time you plan to come and what games you would love to play so we can keep spaces open for you.
