What we’re about
Westside Chamber Players is for musicians to meet and make classical chamber music together. We're looking to get together and discuss how we can best organize the group, match up players and generally have fun. (Musicians from any part of SoCal welcome as long as you can commute to West LA!)
For pianists specifically we have a side group https://www.meetup.com/los-angeles-piano-meetup-group/ which will do piano-specific activities, but feel free to join both!

This will be a fun get-together for casual music performances. All musicians and vocalists are welcome, but just be aware that this group's purpose is to play multi-part music together. Pianists who are not sight-readers are welcome to join our piano-specific group to perform solo piano repertoire https://www.meetup.com/los-angeles-piano-meetup-group
At the meetup, we have sheet music for various compositions and instruments for sight reading, or we can get PDFs for each part (if you have an iPad/tablet please bring it if possible). We have a chat set up on Discord to coordinate preparing pieces to play together, message me if you want an invite.
Space is limited so please take yourself off of the RSVP list if you find out you will not be able to make it.
If you RSVP I will send out the address (it's at a private residence) a few days before the event if you confirm you are attending. Make sure to check your messages, Meetup doesn't always send out emails or notifications!
