W&W Traditional New Year Spink Hike 2025, Glendalough, Wicklow.

It's a brand new year, so time again for the traditional New Years hike, so hopefully we will have a great turn out, bringing old and new members together for an enjoyable day's hiking in the stunning scenery of Glendalough!
The hike will head off at around 11.00am and finish up about 2.30pm where we might go for some refreshments nearby after, we will meet in the lower carpark, that is the first car park beside the visitor centre.
You will need to bring warm clothes , comfortable walking footwear, lunch, snacks, drinks (hot and cold) and a good outdoor jacket. Brace yourself for cold winds.
The hike is a complete loop of the upper lake on gravel track and timber sleepers, however if you feel like just doing half or even a quarter this is easily done. This is a hike/walk for all levels of ability.
