Homer - The Odyssey

As far as classics go, this is the original. The OG. The kegendary stories written by the possibly mythical blind bard of Ionia.
Inspiration for everyone from James Joyce to the Coen Brothers, the Odyssey has set the precedent for books, movies and music ever since. There is a new movie ‘The Return’ slated for release in December.
There have been hundreds of versions produced since the stories wre first written down some time between 800-600BC.
Feel free to read any version you like. I will be reading Emily Wilson’s verse version. If anyone wants to experience it in the oral tradition, there is a version of Wilson’s translation on Audible, read by Claire Danes.
