Wichita Oasis is a non-religious community for people to come together to connect, be inspired, and feel empowered. We meet weekly on Sunday mornings and programming may include featured speakers, live local musicians, potlucks, donation drives, game days, and more. The program starts at 11:00 AM, and people are encouraged to come half an hour earlier for coffee, snacks, and conversation.
We also offer a Kids Room where two experienced and vetted adults are ready to help make your child’s experience at Wichita Oasis as fun and engaging as the main program.

Potluck: Multicultural Cuisine & McKinney-Vento Donation Drive
Wichita Oasis, 2418 E 9th St N, Wichita, KS, USJoin us for our monthly potluck and quarterly McKinney-Vento donation drive! Our theme this month is "multicultural cuisine".
Helpful things to bring for the potluck:
- A dish to share. vegetarian options are always appreciated!
- Ingredients list. known community allergies: fresh watermelon, fresh cucumber, mushrooms, peanuts, strawberries, gluten
- Reusable plates & utensils for personal use (we will have paper and plastic options available)
Also, don’t forget to bring any McKinney-Vento items that you signed up for! You can drop off items early at any Sunday Gathering. See what we still need here: wichitaoasis.org/mvsnacks
The McKinney-Vento program ensures homeless children have access to a free, public education by removing barriers and providing support to students and their families. Each quarter we collect items and then assemble them at the potluck for the students enrolled in the USD 259 program.

Wichita Oasis, 2418 E 9th St N, Wichita, KS, USJoin us after the Wichita Oasis potluck to discuss Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler. This book follows a young woman through a collapsing, climate-ravaged America, founding a new belief system called Earthseed that envisions humanity’s destiny among the stars.
