🎄Shawford and Elm bank circular walk 🎄

A gentle circle walk (8km/5mi) with some ups and downs along the way. We will start with a gentle, but steep climb of Shawford Downs all the way to Elm bank and back to burn some calories accomulated over the Christmas period.

Meet: outside Platform One Coffeehouse (Shawford station) SO21 2AA at 12:15, ready to leave at 12:30.

Terrain: Mix of hiking path and road, with some part of the path which can be muddy. Make sure you are wearing appropriate footwear and clothing for this walk.

At the end of the walk for those who wish, we can stop at Platform one Coffehouse or the Bridge pub.
**Feel free to bring few nibbles and mulled wine to share at the end of the walk.**

Dogs: Well-behaved dogs are allowed, but must be kept on leads at all times.
