It's Baaaack!

Join Us for Flights & Bites at Giant Eagle in Cuyahoga Falls! We will sample 4 wines or beers (1 choice per station) accompanied by food bites. If you have never attended in the past, this is a FABU event. Giant Eagle serves delicious small food bites (not just crackers, etc.).

Music is scheduled from 5 to 7PM as well!

Cost is 15 PLUS TAX, Total 16.01. Will Update Menu as soon as it is available.

Please MEET INSIDE OF THE STARBUCKS AT 5:30PM. When you enter at the Starbucks entrance, turn right and the Catering Office is next to the Starbucks. PAY DAY OF AT THE CATERING DESK/WINDOW. You will receive a Passport for the wine stations. Feel free to arrive early and sit in the Bar Area.

WE WILL BEGIN THE TASTINGS TOGETHER AT 5:30. The group will walk around the store at various stations, and your passport will be marked at each. The Market District has a Bar Area Downstairs which you can sit at during the event. There is one table at each station which we gather at as well.

After the tastings, we will GO UPSTAIRS and sit together to socialize, enjoy the music and share snacks from the store! (You must purchase your own snacks). Feel free to buy a glass of wine or beer or grab a Starbucks too!

Bring Your Favorite Card or Trivia Games Too! We Play Uno, Euchre, Cards Against Humanity and Other Games!!!

Cucumber & Celery Salad
*Crisp Celery, cucumbers, red onion, walnuts, Gorgonzola, parsley in a blue cheese-yogurt dressing.

Chicken wing Trio
-Kick'n garlic, smoke'n hot honey, black & gold breaded wings with celery & carrots

Tailgate-style Meatballs & Kielbasa
-Beef meatballs, kielbasa, roasted peppers, onion & pineapple tossed in a sweet & sour sauce

The Brownie
-signature chocolate fudge brownie, chocolate Buttercream& chocolate sauce

Bent Ladder offers Wine and Ciders and some small bites, BUT YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN FOOD OUTSIDE ONLY!

WINES:
Great wine starts with great fruit. We grow exclusively French-American hybrids in our vineyard. These are crosses of cold hardy grape varieties and vinifera, or “Old World,” grapes. These varieties are well-suited to surviving the cold, Ohio winters and are able to fully ripen in our shorter growing season. This allows us to produce exceptional wine from our own grapes year after year.

HARD CIDERS:
We currently have eight different handcrafted hard ciders available straight from the tap in our tasting room. Each cider is made from a selection of our estate-grown apples which we crush, ferment, age and keg in-house. Even if you have never tried a hard cider before, our wide selection ensures that you will be able to find something that you love. We offer flight boards, glasses and pitchers on site, as well as howlers, growlers, and cans as to-go options so you can enjoy your favorite cider at home.
in 2021 we began releasing our Heritage Series of ciders. These ciders are made primarily with the old-time cider and specialty apples that we grow on the farm. The focus of this series is to really show off the apples. These are available in the tasting room, as well as by the bottle to take home. This year we released our first ice cider, Winter Crisp. Winter Crisp is available in our tasting room by the glass, or to take home by the split.

LIGHT BITES MENU:
Along with opening the tasting room to indoor seating, Bent Ladder has also opened our kitchen for visitor snacking! We currently offer two food boards. The Cheese & Cracker board is a tasty offering of four different cheese along with crackers, dried cherries, mixed nuts, and finished with delicious Rittman Orchards apple slices. The Bread & Oil board is also more than meets the eye. It comes with two types of sliced baguette–Italian and multi-grain–parted by a hearty portion of Bent Ladder’s own seasoned balsamic olive oil which is topped with Parmesan cheese. Don’t take our word, stop in and share one today!

And if food boards do not spark your interest, check out Rittman Orchards’ market before visiting Bent Ladder. There you can find plenty of sweet, savory, and filling options, all of which are welcome within the tasting room. Bent Ladder does not allow any other outside food to be brought indoors. However YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN FOOD FOR OUR OUTDOOR SEATING. However, NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGE PERMITTED at any time–indoors or outdoors.

A NOTE ON RSVP's: Kindly keep your RSVP accurate to accommodate serious attendees as the venue expects our group. Please do NOT wait till the last minute to change. Venues have been contacted that a group is coming - they add wait staff and prepare. It also gives the potential wait list people time to know they can attend.

First Saturday Fun Day at Salvage Winery!

Join your wine group friends at the beautiful Salvage Winery in Mantua, conveniently located just off the Ohio Turnpike on Route 44!

The owner, formerly the winemaker at ThornCreek Winery, is a wonderfully friendly hostess. The winery features a large backyard, picturesque lake, and beautifully landscaped flower gardens and firepits - the perfect setting for a relaxing Saturday with friends. Great Wine Too!

We will play bocce, cornhole and any card games too!

What to Bring:
Your own food: The winery has a very limited menu, so pack a meal or order from a nearby restaurant.
A lawn chair: We will gather near the large tree on the lawn.
Outdoor games: Bring bocce or cornhole equipment if you have it.
Card games: Pack your favorites for everyone to enjoy.

Salvage Winery was founded to continue a legacy of excellence in craft wine. Located on a scenic former multigenerational family automotive-salvage property in Shalersville Township near Mantua, the winery sources its produce from select growers in the western United States.
