Jazz festival, here we come!

Good evening, all! I'd like to thank our group member Cina for bringing this to my attention. This looks like it's going to be a great event. I've not been to a Jazz festival here yet, but I've heard some of these groups before when they played somewhere in particular and they were great! This is a FREE event to attend. The shows are at the Plaza de Mesilla (Mesilla Plaza) and they begin at 5 p.m. and run til 10 p.m. It is highly recommended you bring a lawn chair to sit in and maybe an umbrella for sun or rain protection. I have to work this day so I won't arrive until approximately 6:30 or 7:00. The ad didn't say if there will be vendors selling food or drinks out there, so prepare anyway you'd like to. I'd like to think we could sit together, but with an event like this I know there are no guarantees. You may also consider carpooling which would help your odds of sitting near someone you know.
