What we’re about
Welcome to WineBudz – a "no-wine-snobs-allowed" group in Kitsap County and beyond. Whether you’re brand new to the vine or a ripened enthusiast, you will find a warm and welcoming atmosphere here. We will offer several events every month at venues all over Kitsap County, from Poulsbo to Silverdale, Bremerton & places beyond. As variety is the spice of life, so too will we provide a wide variety of meetups... from the traditional (i.e. happy hours, wine tastings, wine classes, wine dinners, etc.) to the novel and one-of-a-kind (i.e.... well, you’ll just have to join to find out!). So come make new friends and perhaps learn a bit about wine along the way. You must be 21 to join and no older than 121 (as we are concerned about your ability to drive home).
To all members: Part of joining WineBudz includes agreeing with the following legal statement releasing WineBudz plus Betsy Tarpley from any liability for injuries or other damages that you incur while attending and participating in any of our events. If you do not agree to the following, please remove yourself from the group and any of our activities and events. Thank you.
DISCLOSURE, RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND INDEMNITY. I wish to participate in activities offered by WineBudz, as presented on this website or otherwise. - Kingston 4th of July CelebrationMike Wallace Memorial Park, Kingston, WA
Kingston Washington always has the BEST 4th of July event. You feel like you are a part of true old fashioned home town goodness.
This event is very popular, so if you want to get good parking, bring a picnic lunch and arrive early. If you don't want to pack a lunch, there will be food vendors on site.
It's not listed in the activities below, but they usually have some sort of entertainment like the high school band in the early afternoon. Mike Wallace park is a great venue to just hang out all day. Finally, the fireworks display is fantastic.
I will arrive around 2pm and sit to the right of the stage (closest to the parking lot). I will try and save room for seating, but if you arrive late, you will probably have to squeeze in or sit with others. That's okay though because the Kingston crowd is always very friendly.
They are selling shirts to raise money for the event. Here is the link if you want one.
