Optus to Herrison Island via Boorloo Br, Ozone boardwalk, Windan Br. loop (11km)

Join us for this pleasant 11km walk near the city.

MeetUp at the eastern end of the Matagarup Bridge and head down to Heirisson Is. via the Boorloo Bridge, cut through The Point and walk the Ozone Boardwalk, then cross the Trafalgar Br. and the Windan Br. where we head down past the Optus for a coffee at the Mizzica Mangiatoria Café.
Where: Eastern end of the Matagarup Bridge (Click on map for the exact meeting point)
Parking: There is plenty of free parking near at the Camfield Carpark.
Distance: 11km.
Difficulty: Flat terrain & mainly bitumen paths. Expect an easy walk but at a reasonable pace (5.5-6km/h) We should complete the walk in about 2hrs 30min plus coffee afterwards.
What to bring: Water, good walking shoes, hat & sunscreen.
Toilets: At the Optus Stadium, Victoria Gardens and Burswood Gardens.
Café after the walk: A lovely chat and cuppa at the Mizzica Mangiatoria near the mini golf course. Let's give this place a chance and see if we should come back!
