In our next meet we will be refreshing the basics of Bitcoin, followed by a game of Bitcoin Trivia where there will be a prize for the winner!
This week's meetup will focus on how to use bitcoin to make small payments on the 'Lightning Network', which is Bitcoin's Layer 2 network that facilitates extremely quick transactions with low fees.
We’ll cover:
- What the Lightning Network is
- Why it matters
- And how to use it in real life
Don’t worry if this all sounds confusing — we’ll walk you through a simple Lightning wallet setup, step by step.
Whether you are a complete newbie, or deep down the Bitcoin rabbit hole - you are welcomed and all levels of knowledge will be catered to.
