Get ready for a sweet pancake adventure filled day in the Marin Peninsula! We will be hiking the Pantoll Campground Trail to West Point Inn for the famous West Point Inn pancake breakfast. This is the last Pancake Hike until July 2026!

For those who are new to our group activities - we like to talk while we do our activities and enjoy our pace.

Trail Trash Clean Up: I will be bringing a trash bag and extra gloves so we can do our part to help keep the trail clean with so many visitors coming through. This isnt a competition or requirement of attendees, I just want to help maintain our local trails.

Meeting Location:
Uber/Carpool - Meet at 8:00AM at the Mill Valley Safeway Shopping Center. (Address: 1 Camino Alto Mill Valley, CA). Carpool/Uber leaves at 8:10AM to head to Pantoll Campground Parking Lot/Ranger Station which is about 8 miles away. We should arrive by 8:30AM.
*We will split the uber cost equal ways. About $10 per person.
*If a large group forms of over 10 people we can talk and plan shared carpool to save on uber costs.

If you want to Hike Only No Carpool/Uber:
If you want to try to find parking or uber alone and meet us by 8:40AM at the Pantoll Campground Ranger Station. (Address: 3801 Panoramic Highway Mill Valley, CA). Please message me or comment in the group event chat ahead (prior to 8AM day of event) if you will be meeting us seperately so I know how many people to expect arriving solo and not leave you behind. To find us: Look for a pink flag!

Cost of Pancake Breakfast: $13 pancakes + tax (Bring $20 to be safe). West Point Inn accepts CASH OR CHECK ONLY. Venmo accepted if service works. No wifi available.

Hike Information:
We will head out of Pantoll Campground from the Pantoll Ranger Station to start our hike by 8:35AM. Hike will take around 1 hour to get to West Point Inn by 9:30-9:45AM. Enjoy the pancake breakfast for an hour and hike back down to the Pantoll Parking lot by 12PM.

No Drop Hike: No one will get dropped on the hike. We will stop if we see members need time to catch up with us.

Background on West Point Inn and the Pancake Hike:
The West Point Inn is more than a retreat in the woods. It is over 100 years old with tons of history to tell among the redwood trees.
The Pancake Breakfast itself is a special event held only 6 times per year and this October is the last for 2025. By attending this hike you are not only getting exercise and food, you are also donating to support keeping a Historic Inn alive. All pancake fundraiser donations go to the West Point Inn association to support the inn’s upkeep and ops. The inn also provides lodging for the volunteers who setup, cook and clean up for the event.
