What if one simple message could change the course of someone's day - or even their life?

Andrea Driessen, TED speaker and creator of the global Gracenotes movement, believes it can. Andrea has built a mission - and a deeply moving TED Talk with over 2 million views - on this very idea.

In a time when so many of us feel unseen, unheard, or undervalued, Gracenotes offer a meaningful way to reconnect with ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities. These living eulogies are expressions of appreciation shared now, while we can still celebrate and honor each other in real time.

Join us for a transformative conversation with Andrea as she shares what sparked this movement, why telling people they matter shouldn’t have to wait, and how we can all bring more meaning, connection, and purpose into our everyday lives.

You’ll leave feeling inspired, grounded, and empowered with tangible ways to create your own Gracenotes and uplift those around you. Because sometimes, all it takes is just one person.

About the speaker: Andrea Driessen is a viral TED speaker and creator of the global Gracenotes movement—“eulogies for the living.” A 3x award‑winning author and entrepreneur, she inspires audiences with her simple yet powerful idea: we can express how people matter now, before it’s too late. Her TED Talk on gratitude and living eulogies has reached over 2 million viewers. Based in Seattle, Andrea is also a longtime hospice volunteer, featured in a short film, and provides interactive keynote and workshop experiences designed to foster meaning, belonging, and connection in workplaces and communities across the globe.

Innate wisdom lies in the natural world.

It’s easy to feel disconnected but what if we explored what it has to teach us? We will dive into the ancient wisdom of the Five Elements of Chinese medicine with Dr. Lisa Wilson—and discuss how these elements mirror the natural seasons and cycles of our own lives.

You’ll learn how to activate the Five Fundamental Powers of:

    • Wisdom - winter
    • Motivation - spring
    • Passion - summer
    • Connection - harvest
    • Clarity - autumn

Each element represents a powerful expression of both nature and spirit. Yet in the busyness of daily life, many of us lose touch with these innate rhythms and the deep well of wisdom they offer. This disconnection from the natural world—and from our own internal seasons—can lead to fatigue, illness, burnout, lack of purpose, or simply feeling out of sync.

In this workshop, you’ll explore the energy and gifts of each element and season as a way to bring greater balance and harmony into your life. You’ll leave with simple tools and daily practices for elemental embodiment and deeper connection.

About the speaker: Dr. Lisa Wilson combines her knowledge of Chinese medicine with a unique synergy of Five Element based wisdom traditions and modern emotional intelligence practices. Lisa has dedicated her career to offering personalized and innovative approaches to wholehearted healing, offering grounded inspiration for growth and development through one-on-one sessions, classes, workshops and retreats.

She is the creator of “Elemental Alchemy”, a five-element wisdom school for deep transformation and personal growth. Elemental Alchemy is the culmination of over three decades of supporting others on the sacred journey back to the fullness of self.

We’ve all heard it: You can have it all.

But for many women balancing career, caregiving, and everything in between, “having it all” comes at the cost of burnout. What if the problem isn’t us but the outdated playbooks we’ve been handed?

Amanda Goetz, 2x CEO, 4x CMO, and single mom of three, knows this story well. In her powerful new book releasing October 21, Toxic Grit: How to Have It All and (Actually) Love What You Have, Amanda offers a bold redefinition of ambition and a practical roadmap for creating a life that feels both successful and sustainable. Through candid stories and actionable tools, she challenges us to rethink the way we measure success, reclaim joy, and embrace transformation on our own terms.
In this conversation, you’ll learn how to:

    • Embrace intentional choices instead of chasing work-life balance.
    • Protect your time, values, and energy with boundaries that actually stick
    • Shift between the many roles you play with clarity and intention
    • Reclaim joy before burnout becomes your default setting

This isn’t about rejecting ambition—it’s about reshaping it to include all of you.

  • Beyond the Myths: Menopause, Hormones, and Owning Midlife

Beyond the Myths: Menopause, Hormones, and Owning Midlife

Nordic Museum - Seattle, 2655 NW Market St, Seattle, wa, US

THIS IS A PAID IN-PERSON SEATTLE EVENT, PLEASE REGISTER HERE:
    https://www.eventbrite.com/e/beyond-the-myths-menopause-hormones-and-owning-midlife-tickets-1681259996909?

What if everything you’ve been told about midlife and menopause is wrong?

For too long, women have been fed fear and confusion about hormones, aging, and what it means to navigate midlife. As a result, an entire generation of women is left confused about their own bodies, misled by outdated science, and restricted by myths that benefit no one.
It’s time to change the conversation.

You’re invited to a special event with Dr. Kelly Casperson - a urologist, educator and renowned international podcaster – to discuss the themes in her new book, The Menopause Moment, at the National Nordic Museum on October 29.

    You’ll learn:

    • What really happens to your body in midlife
    • How hormones actually work (and why so much of what you’ve heard is wrong)
    • Evidence-based strategies to feel your absolute best - inside and out

The evening includes a 40-minute presentation by Dr. Casperson, followed by an interactive audience Q+A. For privacy, you’ll have the chance to submit your questions anonymously at the start of the event - so you can get real answers without holding back. Light appetizers and Joyous Non-Alcoholic Wines will be served

Midlife isn’t an ending. It’s an evolution. And when you understand what’s happening in your body, you can step into this next chapter with confidence, clarity, and power.

Are you ready to take back the narrative?

About Dr. Kelly Casperson: Dr. Casperson is a urologist, sex educator, and top international podcaster whose mission is empowering women to live their best love lives. Dr. Casperson is an international speaker sought out for both her comedic and science backed delivery. She is the founder and CEO of The Casperson Clinic, PLLC.

Dr. Casperson earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota, completed her surgical training and urological residency at the University of Colorado. She is a proud member of the American Urological Association, International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health and Society of Women in Urology and is a Menopause Society certified practitioner.
