Hal Scott Regional Preserve and Park Walk

Details

Join us for a refreshing morning hike at Hal Scott Regional Preserve and Park, one of East Orlando’s most beautiful natural gems! We’ll meet at 8:00 AM and expect to finish around 12:00 PM after completing a scenic 6.3-mile walk through pine flatwoods, cypress domes, and along the Econlockhatchee River.

We will meet in the parking lot, do a brief introduction, and then head out.

What to Bring:

  • 🦟 Bug spray (mosquitoes love Florida mornings!)
  • 💧 Plenty of water to stay hydrated
  • 🍎 Snacks or light bites for energy along the way
  • 👟 Sturdy walking shoes (expect some muddy or wet spots — it is Florida, after all!)
  • 🧢 Hat, sunscreen, or anything else you like for sun protection

Difficulty: Moderate — the trail is flat but long, so come prepared for a good stretch and steady pace.

Let’s enjoy the cool morning air, the sounds of nature, and great company. Can’t wait to see you on the trail! 🌸
