"Application Performance - Who Cares?" by Diane Omuoyo
Skill Level: All
Synopsis
A critical part of running modern businesses is managing and maintaining technology stacks and ensuring favorable customer experience. Application Performance and Capacity Management is now such an important and essential part of the SDLC. However, when we think about the complexity of the modern applications and infrastructure, the ownership and responsibility of maintaining the health of these systems becomes a difficult task .
Traditional practices around software development have drastically pivoted over time and so we have to shift the way in which we manage these applications and adopt new methodologies that can help us define what quality looks like?
The million dollar question is - Does application health depend on Infrastructure or does Infrastructure health dependent on application health?
