Botany Bay: Kurnell to Cape Solander Walk πŸ³πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Details

This walk begins at Kurnell and enjoys excellent views over the bay and out to the ocean. We will follow the Burrawong Walk and Commemorative Trail past several of the area's historic sites, including the Welcome Wall, the Freshwater Stream, the Meeting Place, Banks' Memorial, Ferry Shelter Shed and Captain Cook's Landing Place.
Located within Kamay Botany Bay National Park, this area is rich in coastal views and the vegetation shifts from dry eucalyptus forest to sandstone heath and heathland dunes. This is also an ideal location for whale watching.
We will continue on the Mura and Yenna tracks down to Cape Solander then back to Kurnell.
