Trying one more time. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this time! It's all uphill for the first 1 1/4 mile to the lookout (Ferguson Peak), after which it levels out a bit to the nice views at Blue Ridge Pastures. The trail is as hikable as ever, though there is a lot of damage from Helene surrounding the trail. Sign says no dogs. No cell service at trailhead, but there is service at the lookout and beyond.
