What we’re about
Women Veterans Interactive (WVI) is a national membership-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving and supporting women veterans and their families through Advocacy, Empowerment, Interaction, Outreach, and Unification.
Recognized as experts on Women Veterans issues, Women Veterans Interactive aims to eradicate homelessness; improve healthcare and education delivery; and develop a network where there is a free exchange of experiences and solutions that will empower and assist women veterans in living fully productive lives. Since its inception, WVI has supported 3,500 women veterans, and its network has grown to more than 50,000 women veterans.
WVI has become the missing link women veterans have longed for. A place where #womenvets are recognized and respected for their service and sacrifice to our country, surrounded by an empowering atmosphere that allows them to continue leading and serving after transitioning out of the military.
Women Veteran Interactive Chapters serves as the local social service arms of Women Veteran Interactive National, to ensure #womenvets are receiving support services, peer to peer support, and much-needed camaraderie in their local communities.
