Rundle Park to Strathcona Science PP & back

We will leave the Rundle Family Centre parking lot and head east along the north side of the river then cross over the footbridge to Strathcona Science Provincial Park and explore the trails there. We will then head back to the parking lot.

This walk will be about 8-9km and around 1.5-1.75 hours of moving time (not including stops along the way).

We will meet at the Rundle Family Centre parking lot - see the Google Map link below and the event cover photo. The Centre has public washrooms and will be the only ones on this walk.

**Please note:

• This walk will be at a medium pace at minimum with only a few stops along the way.
• * Remember that if you can’t attend, please update your RSVP so we can do a headcount at the event.
• Optional: After you’re welcome to join us for a bite to eat at Boston Pizza (3303 118 Ave).
• *We are requesting a voluntary donation of $2 per event, or our suggested annual donation of $20. You can give the money to us and we’ll pass it along to our administrator who pays our group fee on Meetup. Thanks in advance.

Where are we meeting?

• The info is in the event location. When we arrive at the parking lot, the “real time” location will be shared via Google Maps in the comments in case you’re running late.

What should I wear?

• Please wear / bring layers so you can take something off or put on, if need be. *In winter, please bring ice grips!

Can I bring my dog?

• **Dogs are very welcome on our in-town events but please note that there are "on leash" and "off leash" sections of these trails, so please be aware of these and adhere to the City's regulations.**

Do I need to sign my dog up as a guest?

• No need - guests mean humans
