I, Carlos Rodrigues, along with my dog, Yoda, offer hikes in the north of Portugal, especially in the Peneda-Gerês National Park.
We aim to amaze you with the beauty of Portugal’s mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and remote villages. Our tours are not just about exploring nature—they’re an opportunity to have fun, meet new people, challenge your limits, and disconnect from stress and the noisy lifestyle of everyday life.

Fisgas de Ermelo – Uma das maiores quedas de água de Portugal, com um desnível total de cerca de 400 metros, em várias cascatas impressionantes.

Aldeia de Ermelo – Uma pitoresca aldeia tradicional em xisto, onde é possível observar a arquitetura típica da região e campos agrícolas em socalcos.

Rio Olo – Acompanha parte do percurso e oferece vistas deslumbrantes, zonas de vegetação densa e locais ideais para pausas e contemplação da natureza.

Poços da Ponte de Arame – Pequenas lagoas naturais de águas cristalinas, ideais para um mergulho refrescante nos meses mais quentes.

Miradouros Naturais – Ao longo do trilho, há vários pontos elevados com vistas panorâmicas sobre o vale do Olo, as montanhas do Alvão e as próprias Fisgas.

Flexibilidade: Pode trazer o seu amigo de estimação! Apenas pedimos que se responsabilize pelo cuidado do animal e tenha atenção aos animais que possam surgir pelo trilho.

Difficulty level: Moderate – perfect for beginners and nature lovers.
Points of interest:- Fisgas de Ermelo – One of the largest waterfalls in Portugal, with a total drop of around 400 meters across several impressive cascades.
- Village of Ermelo – A picturesque traditional schist village where you can admire the region’s typical architecture and terraced agricultural fields.
- Olo River – Accompanies part of the trail and offers stunning views, dense vegetation, and ideal spots for rest and nature appreciation.
- Poços da Ponte de Arame – Small natural pools with crystal-clear water, perfect for a refreshing dip during warmer months.
- Natural viewpoints – Along the trail, you’ll find several elevated spots with panoramic views over the Olo Valley, the Alvão mountains, and the waterfalls themselves.
Flexibility: You’re welcome to bring your pet! We just ask that you take full responsibility for your furry friend and stay mindful of any animals you may encounter along the trail.
