Hanuman Chalisa: Study & Practice (gauging interest!)
Details
We're considering offering a Hanuman Chalisa event, if there's enough interest! Please click "attend" if you're interested in participating in the future. Please note, the day and time might change, this is just to gauge interest.
The Hanuman Chalisa is a beloved, beautiful and very popular devotional hymn to Lord Hanuman. Composed by Goswami Tulsidas, the famous poet-saint, in the 16th century, and is regularly recited by countless devotees to this day.
Lord Hanuman embodies excellent quailities, such as devotion, service, intelligence and strength. By chanting the Chalisa, we seek the grace and inspiration of Hanuman to embody those quailities within ourselves. Hanuman is also described as the Remover of Crises, and is wonderful to pray to in times of distress. Anyone who feels inspired or connected to Lord Hanuman is welcome to join us!
We'll study and practice the Hanuman Chalisa together, which is composed of 40 verses in the Awadhi language. Whether you're a complete beginner or practice the Chalisa daily, please join us and share your love of Hanuman!
