Stroke Survivors Social Meetup – Share, Support & Connect

Join us for a friendly and informal gathering of stroke survivors at the Royal Festival Hall on the south bank of the Thames – a beautiful, central location perfect for meeting others, sharing stories, and offering mutual support. Please feel free to bring along any friends or family members if you'd like to.

🗓 Date & Time: We’ll be meeting between 2PM and 4PM, but the time is flexible – feel free to arrive later or stay longer if you’d like!

📍 Location: Royal Festival Hall, Waterloo: Easily accessible from all parts of London and beyond, the Royal Festival Hall is just a short walk from Waterloo train and tube station. If you're driving, nearby parking is available at NCP Waterloo, and spaces can be reserved in advance.

What to Expect: Royal Festival Hall is free to enter and has a bar where you can buy food or drinks during the meetup. We’ll aim to find a quiet spot to sit and chat – if the main hall is busy, there are usually quieter areas on the upper levels. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible.

💬 Why Come Along? This is a relaxed and welcoming space to connect with others who’ve experienced stroke, share your journey, and enjoy some good company. Whether you’re newly recovering or have been living with the effects for years, you’re warmly invited.

📱 Let Us Know You’re Coming: If you’d like to join us, please send a quick text or WhatsApp message to Paul on 07349 090375.

We look forward to seeing you there!
