Walensee Hike

The plan is to walk from Walenstadt to Quinten along the coast of the Walensee. At Quinten, there is a beach and a restaurant where we can enjoy lunch.

Afterwards, we can take the boat back to Murg and take the train to Zurich.

Easy-paced walk:

Distance: 11 km, hiking trail.

Ascent/Descent: = + 550 m/- 550 m

Hiking Time: 3.5 h

Rendezvous 1: Zurich HB, Blue Angel, 09.00.
Rendezvous 2: Walenstadt Train Station 09.15.

How to get to Walenstadt:

From Zurich HB: take the 09:12 train (platform 10, direction Chur), arriving 10.15 in Walenstadt.

What to bring: good walking shoes, hiking pole, sunscreen, water, picnic blanket etc.
