Hi, I would like to welcome you to the Brisbane Beginner Motorcycle Riders group.

I am planning a really nice and easy ride in a couple of weeks if you are interested. The Brisbane - Aratula loop is around 200km and will take approximately 4-5 hours depending on breaks. If we leave at 8.30 am we should be home at around 1.30-2.00pm. If the ride is too far and you don't feel comfortable riding this distance I am open for suggestions to remove a few km's. Please also let me know if you would like meet us on the way to Mt Alford if you can't meet at Annerly.

We leave Hungry Jacks at Annerly and head off down Ipswich Rd to the Cunningham Highway and ride to Peaks Crossing. We then enjoy riding the open country roads to Boonah.

20 minutes south of Boonah we have a well-deserved break at historical Mount Alford and check out the Scenic Rim Brewery & Cafe for a coffee and some homemade snacks. If you have saddle bags, be sure to buy a couple of bottles of locally brewed craft beer.

After leaving Mount Alford, we then take in the scenic ride around Lake Moogerah and ride towards Aratula for lunch then back on the Cunningham Highway to Brisbane.

It could be a bit fresh out there so ensure to wear gloves, a few layers and a jacket. Feel free to bring your own snacks and water. If it's raining heavy the ride will be postponed.

We always keep to the speed limit, stop regulary for breaks and most of all have fun....

Please contact me if you have any questions or special requirement.

Cheers
Dean
