We will be attending the monthly stargazing party at the Observatory at the Gilbert Riparian Preserve. It is hosted by the East Valley Astronomy Club. They will bring personal telescopes to set up on the lawn outside the observatory, and the observatory will also be open to the public.
They typically view whatever is visible that night, depending on weather and cloud cover, like planets, moons, star clusters, comets, and more.
If you own a telescope, feel free to bring it.
Donations of a few dollars are appreciated, but not required.
