Lovely lakes, colourful arboretum, Gothic church and ancient Godalming villages

Join us for a gorgeous Sunday circular walk that quickly feels a world away. We’ll visit Rowe’s Flashe Lake and its charming boathouse, where stunning views open across calm water and wooded hillsides. From there, we'll wind on to Winkworth Arboretum, a colourful, well-kept landscape with gentle climbs and glimpses across the Surrey countryside.
After lunch in a country village, we'll continue to Hambledon and its beautiful Gothic-style 12th-century church, before climbing Hydon's Ball. We'll pass across a series of interconnecting lakes reflecting the surrounding trees and rich with wildlife, before following quiet lanes, woodland tracks and open viewpoints back to Godalming, with time for a well-earned optional drink to round off the day.

Duration: 6 hours walking
Grade: Intermediate, along good paths, with some short ups and downs.

CANCELLING/REFUNDS
If you can no longer join the hike, please message the Host listed on here, and update your RSVP status to 'Not going', to allow others to take your place. If the hike is full, and you have messaged us and have changed your RSVP to 'Not going', we will refund you, less than the PayPal/Meetup fees. To obtain this, please email info@aaalondongroup.com after the event, with the email address you use on your PayPal account and transaction reference. If the hike is not full, unfortunately we will not be able to provide any refund.
