🏐 Indoor Volleyball – Costa Mesa 1st Tournament

I'm excited to host our first volleyball tournament! To keep things manageable, the event will be capped at 8 teams (minimum of 6 teams).
This tournament is designed for intermediate-level players — ranging from solid low intermediate to high intermediate skill levels. It will be a fun and competitive event with prizes awarded to the winners**.**
The tournament will be held in the Main Gym at Estancia High School, a spacious and well-maintained facility. The small gym will be available one hour before the tournament begins for any teams that want to come early and get some reps in. Please note that a net will not be set up in the small gym

📝 How to Sign Up
Team Captain registers to reserve a spot and pays the $20 registration fee via Zelle to 714‑452‑7395. Once the payment is received, the team will be moved to the “Going” list (roster submitted via email once the team is confirmed). The remaining $100 balance is due by January 7, 2026.

January 5, 2025, or once 8 teams are confirmed—whichever comes first.
✅ Team Rules
- Maximum of 2 (Male) High Intermediate
- Minimum of 2 female players (Low to High Intermediate)
- Up to 8 players per team
- Players may be members or outside participants (waiver required)
- All standard volleyball rules will be followed
🔄 Accepted Rotations
- Regular rotations: 5-1, 6-2, 4-2
- Middle sets
- Dedicated setter (front row with 2 hitters)
- One MB hack (roation 5-1 MB rotate in the front and Lib in the back)
📊 Tournament Format
- 6 teams → Pool play, 1 pool, 1 set to 25 (cap at 27)
- 8 teams → Pool play, 2 pools 2 sets to 25 (cap at 27)
✅Playoffs:
- 8 teams → Gold & Silver brackets (top 4,bottom 4) Semifinals, then the Finals.
- 6 teams → Bottom 4 teams play in a play‑in round, followed by the Semifinals, then the Finals.
- Final format will be confirmed after sign-ups close
