Destination Talk: Europe with Pub Culture Beercations!

Our August event is going to be a European travel talk. Our speaker for this event has traveled extensively throughout Europe and is going to select a couple places that he’s particularly fond of to talk about. He’s going to tell us about why that destination stands out and his favorite things about traveling there. He runs a local tour company, Pub Culture Beercations, and will talk about connecting with the culture of these destinations through the local food and beverage and his inspiration for “exploring the world one pint at a time”!

Social hour will be from 6:00-7:00pm followed by the Europe travel talk and some Q&A from 7:00-8:00pm.

Pub Culture Beercations offers well-priced group trips throughout multiple countries in Europe and some cities in the U.S. Their trips involve traveling through those destinations and visiting the top attractions/sites while also incorporating global tastes of the destinations’ local brews or wines. Their trips can take you to places like The Czech Republic, Croatia, Ireland, New York City, etc. I haven’t been on one of their trips yet, but have a friend who has and they loved it. About our venue: Salty Dog Bar & Grill is welcoming us back to use their private event space at their restaurant for free. They are located on 72nd Street north of I-80. We’ll be in their private event space towards the back. There is free parking available on site. They offer a variety of tasty food and beverages for purchase.
