About us
PASSION DRIVEN, ADVENTURES UNLIMITED!
Join us as we search for sights and sounds of less trodden paths in Singapore, Asia and rest of the world. At Adventures Unlimited, we walk with you through paths carved out by nature and sights that are preserved from the passing of time.
We cannot cover the world by ourselves, so we like to hear your stories in our community too!
Our Climbs, Our Walks, Our Journey
Every day is an adventure to be uncovered. Where is yours today?
Trek For Hope was established in 2013 to provide opportunities to families that are struggling to survive in their own communities. As adventurers, trekkers, and photographers, we often noticed that the intense beauty of a community attracted many visitors to villages throughout the world, yet the people in those villages did not have enough money to feed their children.
Each footstep we leave is a legacy and the legacy of Trek For Hope is to provide the basic essentials that a village may not have.
Our Trek For Hope has received coverage on major publications like The Straits Times, U-Weekly, Zaobao, Singapore International Magazine, and What’s Up.
If outdoor adventures and volunteering work are your passion, we invite you to join us in our next Hope Trek!
We also have a Facebook community called The Adventure Village created in 2015 to provide our "Villagers" with updates about charitable work, activities, and it served as a place where those who participated in events could connect and share photos or start discussions.
It is a wonderful community where we can widen our social networks when it comes to travel and adventure related conversations, content, and sharing. We'd like to invite you to come join us as well!

GRFM (Get Ready for the Mountains) at Bukit Timah - Combined Teams
Bukit Timah Nature Reserve Visitor Centre, Himdhede Dr, 589318, Singapore, SGGet Ready for the Mountains (Moderate hike)
Before you confirm your spot, please keep in mind that this isn't just a social stroll. This is a timed, moderate-pace hike designed specifically to measure your current cardio fitness and help you track your physical progress over time.
### What to Expect
- The Pace: We will maintain a consistent, moderate intensity throughout. This session acts as a benchmark for your training.
- Suitability: If you haven't been active recently or are new to sustained cardio efforts, this pace might be a challenge. We recommend this for those who have a baseline level of fitness and are familiar with the demands of the Bukit Timah terrain.
- The Goal: Whether you’re training for a specific high-altitude trek or just want to stay "mountain-ready," this hike is about sustaining effort and seeing where you stand.
***
### Logistics
- Meet/End: Bukit Timah Nature Reserve (Main entrance, big rock)
- Distance: ~7km
- Duration: ~2 to 2.5 hours
### Essential Checklist
- Hydration: Bring a water bottle and ensure it’s topped up before we start.
- Weather Prep: Waterproof your electronics and bring rain gear (poncho, jacket, or umbrella). We hike in light rain, but safety comes first.
- Gear: Hiking poles are optional but helpful for the inclines.
- Safety: In the event of a Category 1 weather warning, I will announce any changes to the plan at least 2 hours prior to the hike.
The 'Waitlist' may not go in order as we reserve the right to prioritize the spots for our trip participants who are training for our upcoming treks. Thank you for your understanding!

By joining this training, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and understand the physical risks inherent in this activity. AU is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or health complications that may occur during the training.
