----------------------------------
Hey Book Club People! This is our book club's second annual celebration of Juneteenth at City Park! We will be at Denver City Park at the City Park Pavilion, under the gazebo that's by the water. If, for any reason, weather conditions aren't cooperative, then we'll meet at the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library, where I will have a room reserved. Stay tuned to this event post for all updates.
We'll also have a book discussion about “All About Love” by bell hooks. Due to the quick turnaround needed to get the book after the poll closed and read it before the meeting, you don't have to finish the book to attend this meeting. Make your best effort and focus on that delicious food that you'll be bringing us!!
There will be potluck spreadsheet that we will attach to this post once it is created. Please bring a dish and let everyone know what you're going to bring in the spreadsheet. Details of the spreadsheet are to follow.
This is a placeholder to let y'all know about the location and the date of the event. We'll update this post as more details emerge, so be sure to monitor this event on Meetup. Also, feel free to message Miah or Austin with any questions that you may have!!
Also, make sure that any guests that you invite sign up through Meetup.com.
We hope to see y'all there!!
