Product & BAs are rarely in the business of keeping things the same. Whenever a product or feature needs to be built, we change things. As a result of our work, the code changes, what engineers work on changes, and hopefully some business metrics and customer behaviour changes too (for the better).

Our stakeholders need to be led through those changes – which means people in Product functions are in a leadership role, whether they like it or not, and whether it was ever explicitly said or not.
