Artificial Intelligence - or AI. The technology that will change our collective futures. There is so much noise and so much hype around it it that it is difficult to know what is real.
What we do know is that in studies on individual productivity - AI helps individuals perform better and particularly helps lower performers 'level up' to those of high performers. (Harvard)
However how do we transition those benefits at an Enterprise level where individual productively is only a small lever is producing customer value?
We are delighted to explore a recent research paper called 'From Constraints to Capabilities' from the Business Agility Institute. The report explores AI's potential as a force multiplier for business outcomes, enabling people and teams to achieve significantly greater business outcomes than they could alone.
The challenge is that to unlock these constraints and AI's potential requires a shift in traditional business practices. Leaders need to focus on new capabilities, such as cultivating a learning organization, funding work dynamically, streamlining workflows, and adopting governance systems that balance innovation with risk.
