For September, we will be reading [The Last Final Girl by Stephen Graham Jones](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16039485-the-last-final-girl). Meetings for this book will be Monday September 15 - Friday September 19 from 6am-7:15am(ish). The daily chapter breakdown is the following:

Day One: Act 1 (60 minutes, not full chapter)
Day Two: Act 1 (33 minutes) + Act 2 (30 minutes, not full chapter)
Day Three: Finish Act 2
Day Four: Intermission
Day Five: Act 3 + Final Chapters

The chapter breakdown is a little strange this time around since the book only has a few chapters, some of which are nearly two hours. At 1.5 speed, we will spend between 40 and 52 "listening minutes" each day. Day Five will actually be our longest listening/walking day, but we will still have a few minutes for conversation afterward.

**Good weather:** Meet by the large staircase that leads up to the museum (Madison Ave. side).
**Bad weather:** Meet inside the Madison Ave. foyer of the underground concourse.

**How it Works**
Show up just before 6am on the Madison Ave. side of the either the plaza or concourse and get ready to walk! Download the book beforehand and set up your play speed for 1.5x speed so we stay relatively in sync. We will do laps around Empire State Plaza for just under an hour (6-7am), with a quick check-in afterwards. Members are encouraged to walk at their own pace.
We will allot more time for discussion on Friday when the book is concluded. If you miss a day, feel free to listen along and jump back in.
