## Hike Overview
We’ll begin at the Carney Springs Trailhead and hike up to Wave Cave. From there, we’ll leave the established trail, make our way toward the Superstition Ridge Trail, and then follow the ridge to reach West Boulder Canyon. We’ll then hike up the canyon toward Willow Springs.
Once we reach Willow Springs, we’ll check our time and decide whether to continue exploring or start our return. Our possible return routes include:
- Cutting right toward the Peralta Canyon Trail and looping back.
- Cutting left to rejoin the Superstition Ridge and returning to Wave Cave.
Total distance is estimated at around 10 miles, though it could be a little shorter or longer. We plan to be back by 4:00 PM, with lots of elevation gain expected.
## Important Notes
- This is an exploratory hike. I have not completed this route, and there’s very little information available about it.
