Description: All hikers must pre-register online. Meet at 8:45 for a prompt 9:00 start to this 8-mile-long, out-and-back hike to Connecticut's highest single-drop waterfall. No dogs or children under 18 years old. We will stay together as a group for the entire hike, and will travel at 2-2.5 mph. Hiking poles are highly recommended, as some parts of the trail are steep and rocky. Hikers must wear appropriate hiking footwear (no sneakers), and carry at least 2 liters of water per person, snacks or light meal, insect and tick repellent, sunscreen, personal medications and first-aid supplies. Heavy rain cancels. We will meet at the cul-de-sac near 25 Boardman Drive, Prospect. Please be careful to leave at least 15' between your car and a mailbox or driveway.
