Description: Join the Narragansett and Worcester chapters in a 20s and 30s interchapter social! Enjoy an evening of board games at Lops Brewing in Woonsocket, RI. You will to get to know others who are interested in the outdoors and meet good friends over drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available). This is a great opportunity to learn about upcoming trips and talk with trip leaders. Lops Brewing has connections to the White Mountains, so be sure to check them out in advance! The social starts at 6:00 pm, spots are limited.
We welcome people of all skill levels and young folks with varying outdoor interests. If you are new to AMC, we'd love to meet you!

Description: Join the Narragansett and New Hampshire young members for a weekend at the Notch Hostel, located in the heart of Woodstock, NH. The Notch Hostel is conveniently located near Lincoln, offering access to a variety of great restaurants, downhill skiing/snowboarding, and snowshoeing, among other possible outdoor activities. There are no set winter activities planned; participants will gather at the hostel on Friday and make plans for weekend activities, with the most up to date weather report and trail conditions.

The Notch provides:

• pillows
• bedding
• blankets
• bath towels
• shampoo and soap
• kitchen area with cooking utensils and refrigerator

Participants should plan to bring any equipment they will need for their chosen outdoor activity, whether that be skis, snowboard, or snowshoes/microspikes.

Sleeping arrangements : All registered participants will share a bunk in a co-ed space (roughly 5 or so bunks per bunkroom). We have reserved all the bunks, minus one bunkroom for this event.

If you cancel before 30 January 2026 (3 weeks in advance) - you will receive a full refund
If you cancel after 30 January 2026 - you will receive a full refund IF we can fill your spot

All registered participants should expect a group email at least 2 weeks in advance to facilitate planning of weekend activities. If the event is full when you try to register, please reach out to one of the leaders directly in the event that a cancellation occurs so that we can contact you.

Sometimes, all you need is a fork and the curiosity to discover what’s nearby. Join us for a culinary experience that goes beyond the plate. At S.E.A.L., we celebrate local flavors, the stories shared around the table, and the magic of connecting with genuine people in unexpected places. Each gathering is different. The menu changes, the location shifts, but the spirit stays the same: explore, savor, and live every adventure locally.
This time, we’re trading the forest path for fork and plate, and meeting at a local culinary gem in Rhode Island.
This month’s location:  Xaco Taco is a Mexican restaurant in Providence that celebrates authentic Mexican street food with a modern twist, serving tacos made with fresh ingredients and handmade corn tortillas, dishes inspired by different regions of Mexico, and flavors that capture the warmth, tradition, and festive vibes of Mexican culinary culture in a relaxed, energetic atmosphere that invites you to savor every bite.

Description: Join the Narragansett 20s and 30s to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the AMC! We will gather at the Arcadia Backpack area, a short walk to Stepstone Falls, and offer an out and back hiking option with varying lengths suitable for various levels of hiking experience and fitness. This area offers many different outlets for exploring the beautiful Arcadia Management Area, which offers some of the best hiking in RI. The pavilion that accompanies the Arcadia backpack area offers two fireplaces and a couple picnic tables. Participants should plan to bring a dish to share for the group, along with some wood for the fires.
Participants should also plan to bring:
Water (~2 liters) Bugspray Fluorescent orange vest (required by law) Cutlery, plates, drinking cups Chair A dish to share Good boots Firewood Please join us for this historic event! All registered participants will receive an email from the leaders a week in advance of the event with more details. However, all participants should expect that the pavilion only offers picnic tables and nothing else, so participants are responsible for providing anything that will make them more comfortable. This is a carry-in, carry-out venue, and so everyone is also responsible to remove any and all trash from the site.
