Come play American Mahjong - COS

Get out of the house and come play some American Mahjong. Everyone is welcome to attend. If you do NOT know how to play and would like to learn, please come half an hour early (12:30PM) so the rules, tile names, set up, etc. can be explained. Really, the best way to learn is to just play and ask questions. Gotta start somewhere. 😀

We will look for tables on the main/upper level near the Service Desk (entering from Chapel Hills Dr). We will gather here.

If there are not enough tables, we may need to move about the library to find other tables to play on ( main or lower floor). We’ve been informed there are other tables among the book stacks. Let’s be flexible as we try out this new venue for Saturdays.

If you cannot come, please, please, please change your reservation so others can attend, especially if there is a waitlist. Don't reserve and be a no-show. If you reserve and have 3 no-shows, expect to be removed from the group.

If you have an American Mahjong set, please bring it (in case we need extra sets). We are still playing with 2025 Mahjong cards. The host has extra cards if you do not have a card yet. New 2026 cards will not be available until end of Mar/ beginning of Apr 2026.
