What is this session?
The sessions will generally include a short introduction, a guided meditation of around 50 minutes, followed by a short break, and time for discussion, questions, and further gentle exploration.

These free sessions are designed to be simple, nourishing, and accessible, even if you’ve never meditated before. They offer a gentle space to slow down, breathe, and rest in a more settled, peaceful sense of mind.

You’ll be guided through various simple yet effective meditation techniques — including awareness of body sensations, breath, and subtle movement of energies, gentle visualisation, and resting in awareness — with time for reflection, discussion of yogic principles, and questions at the end.

Modern life can be hectic, exhausting, and emotionally draining. Meditation offers us a chance to pause — to lay down our worries for a while, calm the mind, and reconnect with a deeper sense of ease and wellbeing.

Emotions don’t need to be pushed away. Rather, meditation helps us learn how to relate to them more gently and skilfully, so life feels less overwhelming and more spacious.

At the heart of these practises are methods that begin to reveal to us our natural sense of inner ease, effortless presence, love, compassion, and joy for life. These meditations are drawn from timeless yogic and contemplative principles, and adapted in a very down-to-earth way so that anyone can benefit.

Rather than striving to achieve anything in particular, the emphasis is on creating the conditions for the following to naturally emerge:

  • Calming the nervous system
  • Releasing stress and tension
  • Gently opening and healing the heart
  • Revealing inner clarity and mental ease
  • Reconnecting with inner stillness and warmth

The practices are gentle, grounding, and designed to leave you feeling lighter, calmer, and more at home in yourself.

We have chairs or cushions to sit on + blankets to stay warm. Wear clothing comfortable enough to meditate in & bring an open mind.
