Feb 22 FLINT AND STEEL BEACH Part of West Head (Kuringai Chase Pk), this walk involves a descent via a lush gully to a small beach (Flint & Steel, also known as White Horse), where we can have a swim in the appropriate season. We return the same way. After the walk, we go to spectacular West Head lookout.
Meet at the beginning of McCarrs Creek Road, Terrey Hills (turn off from Mona Vale Rd) from where we will do a car pool to save on entry charges to the National Park. Park your car somewhere near opposite to the Kaiser Stubn restaurant
(4 km, low/medium). CA
Bring comfortable walking shoes,rain jacket, lunch, water (1L or more).
