Aug 2 GIRRAKOOL CIRCUIT A loop walk in Brisbane Waters National Park, through varied terrain, with magnificent tall trees and wild flowers, from dry plateau country to gully rainforest and mangroves. Take the Gosford/Woy Woy turnoff from the Newcastle Freeway (just after the Mooney Mooney Bridge), follow the Wisemans Ferry and Old Sydney Town signs for 0.5 km, turn SW (left) down the Pacific Hwy and drive 2 km to the Girrakool turnoff (left) to the carpark.
(9 km, medium).
Bring comfortable walking shoes,rain jacket, lunch, water (1L or more).
